Who are the Black Falcons?
The Black Falcons is Green Hope’s award-winning cybersecurity team. We compete in CyberPatriot challenges hosted by the Air Force Association, and we’ve placed #1 in the state two years in a row.

What do you do?
CyberPatriot challenges involve virtual machines with unknown security issues or malware. Our objective is to fix as many of these problems as possible in the four-hour competition window. Each challenge awards points, and teams are scored based on their cumulative points earned. See this page for more information about the competition format.
How can I join?
Registration is currently closed; we usually recruit in the spring before each competition season. The process includes three steps:
- Fill out the interest form
- Schedule and attend an interview
- Complete the technical challenge
More details will be announced for the next school year once tryouts open.
